A cutting-edge solution has been implemented at the VIBE office building, allowing users to issue and use mobile access cards directly within Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. This innovation is powered by Wayin – a mobile access module within the Signal OnSite building app, developed by Signal OS.
Thanks to integration with digital wallets, employees at VIBE can now add access cards directly to their smartphones and Apple Watches. With just their mobile device, users can move freely throughout the building – from calling elevators and passing through turnstiles to accessing the parking area – without the need to carry a physical plastic card. The implementation is the result of a collaboration between Signal OS, building manager Cushman & Wakefield, and access infrastructure provider HID.
VIBE is the first building where Signal OS has enabled access cards within Google Wallet – a significant step towards seamless, cross-device tenant experience and greater operational flexibility.
“When designing VIBE, Ghelamco set out to combine innovative and sustainable solutions to deliver a comfortable and secure work environment that offers both privacy and freedom. As the team managing this exceptional building, we’re committed to ensuring VIBE continues to set the standard in the commercial real estate sector for top-tier ESG solutions. Introducing mobile access cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet not only simplifies everyday movement through the building but also enhances security and streamlines access management in a more flexible, optimized way.”
